Stealing Time (Servants of Fate Book 1)

Written by Wendy Sparrow

Overall impression: Liked it! Incredibly sweet and addictive story about an immortal who falls for a mortal he’s meant to sacrifice to Fate.

new-romancer

New Romancer

Written by Peter Milligan
Art by Brett Parson

Overall impression: Didn’t like it. And I really, really wanted to like this book. I mean, a genius coder who creates a dating website algorithm so powerful it brings her fantasy man, Lord Byron, back from the dead? Fun, awesome concept, but the story was majorly lacking and I couldn’t bring myself to root for the heroine. However, the art is gorgeous (and is what saved this from a “hated it” rating)!
